I agree with the dyno differences, but If one car makes 250 on one dyno, and another car makes 200 on that dyno, if you take both cars to a different dyno and the fisrt car makes 270 on that dyno, then the second will make 220. Where I think the issue is that travis' zpi kit made the same power on the same dyno as the TEA kit at the same PSI. That seems wierd to me.
But your right, dyno numbers mean nothing about track times, but it's kinda like Xbox 360 games...some people play to finish the games, and other play to get all the achievements, but none of that makes a difference if you get owned in online multiplayer. They are 3 completely different methods of measurments and different people have different goals. IMO, haveing the goal of getting 350whp out of a boosted, unbuilt 2.4liter engine is just as admirable as having the goal of running 12s on a boosted, unbuilt 2.4 liter. But those are different goals. Like you said, the first goal is bassed on build and tune...the second is based on driver skill (mostly)

Don't ask me to explain it... It is what it is I reckon. The tunner still had my dyno session stored in his computer when my boy went to have his car dyno/tuned. At the time like I said for me it was 250 @ 7 PSI, and for him it was 240 @ 8. It wasn't 240whp even, maybe like mid 240ish whp. Same dyno, different times. He even had a hard time getting my car to read as the tires kept spinning on the drums (Stock Scion tires FTL!).
