Default hatchback support shocks

My support shocks gave out and the hatchback will not stay up on it's own. Were can I get some heavy duty aftermarket shocks or lifters whatever you call them, cuase I think if I buy the oem's, will last the same as this pair did. ps my warranty is up
thanks Mike

take it to the dealer and tell them. Maybe they can put some better ones? How long have you had the tC?

something like this would definitely be covered under the warranty. Hopefully you still have yours...

trdsparks.com look at the spoilers section. They have the heavy duty lift supports meant for the pedestal spoiler.

Can ask your dealership, see what they say. Worst that'll happen is they say no. Shouldn't be hard to replace on your own. Would be easier with help though.
