Between those two, after knowing what I know now, I would go GReddy only for the simple fact that the 18G has the spool characteristics of ZPI's 16G (I prefer faster spooling turbos). BUT! I would immediately figure a way to go with an external WG (I think GReddy should provide tC owners with an option of external or internal WG's).

Either replace the WG w/external or inspect the internal gate thoroughly and replace if need be. A properly working internal wastegate should work for years and years. All factory turbo cars use internal gates.

Sometime having a product under warranty is better. One scion life member blown his engine with the GReddy turbo kit. So far I haven't heard or read anyone with a blown engine with the Turbonetics turbo kit. Here is a link to the thread where the SL member talks about his blown engine.

Just look at the pro and cons for both products it will help you pick the right one that best one for your needs.

happy holidays

NO NO NO its not the kit its INSTALL and TUNE if you dont do the install and tune right all kits are junk. If you understand boost either kit will work well.
