Ok so my wideband starting working again I think it may have gotten brake cleaner on the o2. So now I know its not the AEM o2 because its working perfect now. My factory ecu is cutting my fuel for some reason still though. Looks like I am gonna go through every connector cleaning and drying and putting in dielectric grease. Which connectors should I start with? What would pull my fuel like that. My car falls completely on its face but doesnt die completley. ???

you dont want to know....lol
its behind the intake manifold...to get to it you would need to uninstall the manifold. not alot of room back there.

I tune my car myself whenever it gets a little off due to altitude or weather. It was on a good tune for the past month and I didnt change a thing. I tried changing the tune earlier today and even putting it to stock values all with the same results of it cutting the fuel. I keep getting the p0172 rich code even when I am not rich. I think the factory o2 is messed up. I am gonna put a new oxygen sensor in tonight and see what happens.

Ok so a brand new $170 dollar Bosch oxygen sensor didnt work either. I am stumped. Could oil pressure cause this? I am just a tad over the full mark on my dipstick. I have no other ideas..... :-(

http://www.obd-codes.com/p0172

I say clear the code by disconnecting the batt and get a scangauge to moniter your fuel trims. cleaning the maf wouldnt hurt.

I cleaned the maf first thing when it started messing up but I will check it again. I cant see any vacuum leaks but I will go through every hose. I have a scanguage II which I have been using to retrieve and erase the cel codes. Which setting do I use for the fuel trim? GPH?
Thanks

How likely is it that the fuel pressure regulator or the maf could be bad? How would I check the fuel pressure if there is no valve on the fuel rail?

If I get the GReddy map sensor can I bypass my maf with it? ;-) Hehehe... Might as well upgrade if I can.

you have to program it to read fuel trims...here are the codes to program it
http://www.scangauge.com/support/pdfs/XGAUGE.pdf

for 07-up tc's i think your going to use the 1st code for ISO short term fuel trim and 1st code for long term

try this out, if the short term and long term always reads 0 then you either have the wrong code or your primary o2 isnt reading

not sure about fuel pressure, i thought at some point ther was a service port someplace but iv never seen it. I doubt its bad, this would be a first iv ever heard of the stock regulator going bad. stock pressure should be high 40's low 50's

Do you think my Emanage Ultimate could cause this? Even in closed loop and open loop? I even set all the settings to stock in the emanage.

So I put in a new MAF last night and I still have problems. I am taking it to UMS Tuning in Tempe first thing tomorrow morning to have them take a look at it. Its got me stumped. I will keep you guys updated and thanks for all the help! Hopefully its not too expensive seeing as I have already dumped a bit into it in new sensors and fuel pump that didnt help the problem. :-/
