Default HELP Please

Well have been trying to keep this under the radar...but have to let the cat out of the bag because I need some help.

I am in the process of re doing my whole setup....mostly because of the last piece of $....,and to get ready for 2010 time attack season....well anyway....the motor is now in great hands and is being done the right way. Anyway it has come to our attention that the lower block of mine is cracked on the bell housing side....and that the previous...guuy...painted over this. So HELP...I am in need of a lower block for a tC ASAP....if anyone has a motor or this part PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Here are the pictures of what we found after removing the god awful red paint from the motor.

New Setup is Here.....https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...64#post3302164

Wow man, just wow! I hope you find someone that can help. I know I wish I can but I don't have any spare parts at the moment. Good luck!

How did that happen, Jester? I have a friend that did that to his engine (not a Scion) but his happened because he was using solid engine/tranny mounts. No rubber..

That is interesting since I have a solid custom mount for the engine...and it bolts to the trans.....and the previous setup made the better part of 500whp....No idea how it happened BUT...it looks like it happened before I got it, and then it was painted over by the so called shop

Picture of the brace..

PM SENT!

My only question would be will this work on an 06 motor since I know they made some changes on the 07 motor to improve oiling.

wow, since when did you know this was there? could this be the reason why you were having issues before? good luck on the rebuild man, looks like this time you'll get the car stronger

We just found this today...and if you look at the other thread you can see that the valves were either not...or barely sealing at operating temperature. This should be very interesting now that it is getting done right...few months ago it made 371whp on a Mustang Dyno on 15psi and stock rev limiter....cant wait to see how it does when everything is working like it should be!

i dont know for sure, what i do know is that i had another buyer for the lower engine but he was told by Paul over at dezod that it wouldnt work since his is an 05 and this is an 09. I do know that the oil pumps are the exact same since he got that from me and swapped out his for mine. I cant think of a good reason why it wouldnt work but its third person info so who really knows. Pm paul or Mr.c and see what the deal is and if it can work. Ill pm you price if it will work.

My car was at that shop during that time frame but I have nothing but negative comments for them, or more specifically a certain blond headed individual that is there...he is the whole reason I am having to redo this stuff...YET AGAIN.......I will leave it at that.
