Car is running real smooth, definitely happy with the feel and pull.

One more question though... Does anyone know if the ECU's open loop fuel map changes at all after diagnostics have been completed? I'm pretty sure that when my tuner finished up on thursday the AFRs ran around like 11.7 under boost at WOT... strangely enough though now that all the run cycles have been completed (as indicated by the SGII reading -READY-) my AFR under boost at WOT is now pegged right at 10.6... Not really concerned since thats not rich enough to cause any problems but loosing that bit of power is kind of annoying lol. Anyone have any idea as to why I'm getting this shift? Nothing else seems to have changed (idle, partial throttle boost etc...)
Where the temps drastically different from the tune time to now?

Check for boost leaks? Couplers coming loose? Cranks? Pin holes etc?

definitely dont think the temps were different enough to cause an issue... Maybe I'll try making a boost leak tester, but every thing seems to be perfect by basic inspection. I grabbed the pipes at all connections and tugged and everything is really tight :-/

If there is a leak its gotta be really small and correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the fi/c adjust fuel to compensate for such a small leak since its tuned off MAP?

Doing a boost testator this week/weekend just to be safe. Blek now I'm terrified that I will find a leak and fixed it will ruin my whole tune :-( ah the joys of boost

Oh also I did find a dripping oil leak because the oil filter sandwich adapter I have sucks. (fixing that soon too by replacing with a brand new Prosport unit...yumm)
Could the small leak some how be related?

Thanks all for putting up with my n00b-ness, the learning curve is a b*+$# haha

Boost leak, maybe; oil, no. Keep an eye on it tho!

i need to run my oil pressure gauge, and i don't know if i want to run it to my oil source and then switch it or just wait until this comes in the mail. i do know that when i get my sandwhich block, i'm dropping my oil pan again and removing my balance shaft

I thought your oil pressure gauge was already hooked up to the turbo oil feed source and it was just giving bad readings and you were moving it...?

Also unless you found some magical filter that is sized better for our filter size, its going to leak between the filter and the sandwich. Even with the Prosport one i got today i could tell the o-ring of a toyota filter wouldnt form a good seal... I spent some time at O'reily's today and found that WIX filters are slightly larger in diameter, and so far everything is good here with the new sandwhich and WIX filter....crossing me fingers that the leak doesnt return

it was all hooked up, but it stopped working so i sent it in to aem to get fixed. I'm now using that fluid pressure gauge for fuel pressure since i'm running a return fuel setup, and got a plx oil pressure sensor. and running your oil pressure gauge off of the dummy light hole never gives consistent readings either.

ah alright. Well update on how your sandwich filter goes. I want to know if theres one out there that is compatable with the toyota filter and no leaks :-)

Well just to update I did a boost leak test and found I was actually leaking boost from one of my fuel injectors. So weird lol I cant believe I wasn't leaking any fuel. Males no sense to me but what ever.
Car was still running rich so I actually decided just to try pulling some fuel myself. Adjusted the boosted region of the fuel map by I think like 3% and now it stays at ~11.4 at 8psi
Now that my boost gauge is fixed I believe boost spikes were causing richness. I'm getting spikes up to 10psi some times even holding at 9psi. When I go above 8 it still richness to about 10.7 or so but I think leaving it that way is good for safety considering my experience level
