Default Help with Wot Box settings (Fixed)

I bought it a while back used and it was preset and all. Yesterday I decided to buy a serial to usb adapter and play with the settings, since I wasn't able to grip well at the 4k it was set at. Well instead of reading it first and see all the additional settings, I pressed 'Load Firmware' by mistake. I have tried different settings, but the box is not working, 2-step and no-lift shift.

Anyone has any inputs on the settings, I'm under the impression that all the settings are wrong mostly the global settings.

Thanks in advance guys!!

i had some issues with mine after I put it in. Go through and check to make sure it is reading properly from all the signals. I.E. check to make sure it is reading that the clutch is depressed (problem I had), throttle depressed, etc.

more than likely a wire is loose/not connected properly. Check the clutch one tho, i know for me it was a b!tch to splice into lol half-@ssed it the first time

All my signals are there, when I depress the throttle the voltage goes up and with the clutch is backwards. What do u have on ur global settings and what's the lockout rpm for under the launch control.

sorry i've been working a LOT. left for work 6:30 this morning and got home at 8:15.

I think the lockout is like 1200 or 1500 on mine. btw what do you have for your RPM source?

Steven
I tried the SRT4, Other ignition signal, Other fuel signal and don't remember the other ones. I didn't try them all, cuz I didn't feel like blowing the engine up to find out. If ur talking hardware wise, yellow wot box wire to light green wire from first coilpack.
BTW, the box was working last week last time I used the no-lift shift. It all started once I tried changing the settings and loaded the firmware by mistake, instead of reading what was in the box already. So far the led does flashes whenever I do wot with the box on and car off, same with the clutch.

All I need is:
Launch Control settings; ex. alternate, lockout, tps threshold, boxes checked out.
Global Settings; RPM SOURCE, if TPS or Clutch inverted box checked
No-Lift Shift; TPS threshold

A windows snap shot might be nice
Thanks a bunch man!!

I think I found out why it wasn't working, only thing is that I won't be able to try it out until tomorrow morning when I get out from work. As some of my buddies here know, I kind of broke my laptop screen. Long story short, I didn't noticed (couldn't see) that the "clutch signal inverted" box was unchecked. In our cars the clutch reads 5v when up and 0v when down, unlike the TPS. In one occasion I did noticed the car cutting a bit of power whenever I went into WOT. LOL the car was trying to flat shift every time I went into WOT, it didn't really think about it until today.

Hopefully this is it, cuz I was getting ready to go downtown with this dang box and hammer the crOp out of it.

Thanks for trying to help out Steven!

I was checking on here and was looking if you still needed a screen shot. I can post one if you need me to. I would have earlier but I just finished eating dinner after PT with the Marines. Hopefully you fixed it tho :D

Thanks for ur service brotha! I'm in the Air Force myself, stationed in Ellington Field working in the Alert facility as an Avionics Specialist on F-16's. That's why I couldn't try it last nite and had to wait untill the morning :-/ So far it's working fine, but it's all about the global settings. Also found that it needs to be set to "Other Ignition Signal" for the 2 -step to work. Which launch rpm do u like urs at? I set mine at 2800, but might rise it a bit cuz it goes flat at times.

Where u station at?

lol still need to go to boot camp...... Don't thank me quite yet

i ship out in November. I was just doing a PT with fellow Poolees and a few random local guys and my recruiter, still fun times tho. I'm pretty sure i can survive boot camp, I feel decently prepared being a eagle scout, having hunted/shot firearms as much as i have, and having spent the past 2 months working on getting in shape. I'm freakin excited for it...i think...lol

2 step right....

Um mine was set at 3100 but that was with my crappy Bridgestones. With the 225 BFG G-Force Supersports I have now, I need to bump it up a lil cause it kinda bogs. i would recommend somewhere between 3000 and 3200. 3300-3400 was about what i would launch at when at the track, so back off that a bit for on the street and it "should be good"

Well congrats on ur decision man, one of my co-workers and best friend is an ex-grunt. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Those 13+ weeks should put u in the best shape u'll probably be in ur whole life Don't forget to post up once u get back.

I'll give it a try to those settings and see how it goes, the Nitto Invo's I got seem to have decent grip.

Later
