something is causing the interference so there is something different about Cory's xb and fred's....

if we could pin point the source of the interference we wouldn't need the resistors at all.

I'm inclined to believe the difference is normal deviation in the oem crk sensors. The allowable resistance variance for Toyota crk position sensors is large enough to make a fairly significant difference in output voltage. OTOH, it could easily be something else. The biggest diff between my XB and Cory's is the tranny (I'm AT).
