Also stock tire size is a little smaller at 215/45/17. That is the tire size I am sure they calibrated the speedometer with.

No, its def a fuel cut cuz itll cut at the same mph in 5th gear, just with much more RPMs to go.

friday bump. Trying to buy these parts soon. RS, you honestly think thats the only way to bypass what I need?

Just to be sure I understand. You are not limited to 115 as your top speed right? You are just frustrated that it hiccups at that speed right?

You don't want to cut the VSS as you would like to keep the cruise control but as you mentioned a switch could be a solution without spending money.

I would say though to do it the "right" way, would be to swap ECU (TRD reflash sucks anyway), throw on the FI/C as I think it's far superior than the Unichip if you are set on these two, and then get it tuned up on the non-TRD reflashed ECU and FI/C. It will respond better than it did with just a reflash.

^this I have an ultimate ill sell you for cheap check my FS thread,you'll need to get harness and software or buy it with the split second and your no speed cut and part throttle tune

Nah bro, it shuts down at 115mph, in 4th (OR 5th), with plenty of RPMS to go. Its not a hiccup. It stops, and hits a fuel cut at 115. As far as the guy offering me his setup, I appreciate it, but I dont buy used items really.
