Sparks Toyota was good to me. I got the 05-06 for $1800 and had it installed for $400-450 locally.

There's a few used ones available in the FS forum.

Not worth 3 grand but I dont think thats the current price on them. Should be under $2k. Decent increase in performance on a manual transmission. Horrible performance on an automatic...

the 07-08 superchargers are about $2900 plus installation from sparks. the 05-06 ones won't fit the 07-08 tc.

Oh, ok, good to know, thanks! That's crazy, charging >$1k more for essentially the same thing (no diff that would warrant such an increase), but I suppose it'll come down in time, just as it did for the '05-06.

it is kinda a funny thing. the stock tc makes 161 bhp, and 200 bhp with the supercharger, which is about a 40 hp increase.

however, when people take their tc's to the dyno, they tend to pu down about 140 whp, and then with the supercharger, they dyno 190 whp, which is an increase of 50 whp.

Still 1800 is alot for 50whp. any way you slice it.

You might hate me for saying this but. you can get a 150 shot (not that many people would.) for 700.

See thats what i've heard, basically they underrated the charger. so would the 50 hp be noticeable?

50hp isnt a bad deal for under $1500 but for you 08'ers, definitely get a turbo kit and get the 100+hp.
