I paid 1000 for my s/c but since I'm not going w/ trd reflash I'm puttin in an aem f/ic nd then tuning it altogether I'm spending close to 3 grand installed and tuned (im installing it myself so I don't need to spend the cash on that)

$1800 for the sc and $300 dollars installed. Yes 50 hp does make a nice difference.

You probably are better off getting the dyno done on the side so you can get the full power out of your set up rather than the trd reflash.

is it noticible...uhm YEAH. now i know that turbos make more power, but the supercharger makes the power quite well. but when you get above 3500 rpms and push it, it isn't a jerking surge of power like when a turbo suddenly spools up, it feels like a normal tc on fast forward. the engine just pulls much harder.

it isn't like a turbo where it spools and you get a huge surge of power.

yea i know i've just been saving $ just went on vacation and plus my tranny is scraping so i'm going to have toyota look at it and try and fix it before i completely throw my warranty out the window once i start to track it more i don't want to deal with it breaking and spending more $

^ Agreed 100%

Its constant solid power. It scares the hell outta my wife, and any other passenger for that matter, when I floor it getting on the hwy.

With the NST pulley I'm boosting 9.5-10lbs for under $3k. I think it was money very well spent.

I paid like 1200 for mine and did the install myself. All in all though I have spent about 1500 on it. Thats with the 9.5 pulley and intake and headers and about 3 belts @ 50 dollars each.

You 2007+ owners got lucky and were allowed to finance the S/C. I bought my 2006 and it was an upfront charge, that and the dealer wanted 4000$ for it, including install.

You might hate me for saying this but. you can get a 150 shot (not that many people would.) for 700.
so get a 150 shot and let us know how it goes. and it's good to know toyota will replace anything that breaks for free.
Never said i wanted a150 shot. i personally don't like nitrous. i just think the supercharger is a bad bang for your buck deal. just my opinion tho.

Actually your paying less per HP if you spend 1800 on the supercharger. It comes out to $36 per hp w/ a S/C vs 37.50 per hp with an intake priced at $300, assuming you pick up 8hp
