its all pretty much bolt on yamaha.

remove tranny.. You should see the stock flywheel just sitting there. Remove that. Install new flywheel.

Clutch.. The stage 3 clutch (i have CM stage 3 in my tC) is all assembled. and just pop it in.

I paid someone to install my clutch and flywheel. But it was along with my LSD.

I am not comfortable with an LSD install. You gotta gear match etc. So i just had them install the other parts since they all involve the same steps.

Dont you have to remove the subframe to get the tranny out? Ive had it off before but it sucks.

How do you like the stage 3 btw?

You don't have to, but it makes it easier.

The stage 3 clutch is nice. Very smooth and not at all hard to depress. Clutch grabs almost as soon as you let off the pedal..

A++ in my book.

I'll take a closer look today to see if I might try it myself.

No i didn't.

The clutch and flywheel got installed when i installed the quaife LSD.

The LSD was a bit more than I am comfortable with so I paid a shop to do it. But i like to get my hands dirty on my car when i can.

Has the lighter flywheel been a problem for u. Like when your driving like laxed do the rpms drop instantly?

Aluminum flywheels are great for conditions when rpms are continuously in the upper range, and not good for daily driving purposes.

I had a stage 2 ACT clutch and fidanza flywheel installed recently. I dont have any problems with the flywheel when used as a DD.

That's not what I'm trying to say. For daily driving purposes, spending money on an aluminum flywheel does nothing.

Eh, personal opinion. I have had no problems with lightend flywheels in all my cars. Daily driving and all. Makes rev matching a whole lot easier! :D

Rev matching is exactly what I mean. I do not want to have to slam into every gear just to match up with the next.

Dealer says 1000.00 to 1200.00. Most professional mechanics charge about 300.00. Sad thing about the dealer is every time i bring my car there it comes back with paint chips or rim dings.
