Default Hydra Question

Anyone able to raise their rev limit with the Hydra? I have the 2.6v on an 06' and cant seem to get it work. I know where to change it in the software, but it does not seem to do anything in the way of raising the rev limit.

I'm running 2.6 version and Vinny was able to raise the rev limiter, but my car car is 2007. Call Vinny Ten.

Yes, we are going to try and set them both to like 5k and see if the rev limits through the Hydra are working at all. We are just trying to get to 6500 at this point

Yeah called Vinny a bit ago and he was great...very helpful, he is working with my tuner to see if they can get it figured out. Vinny was like...let me get my laptop and lets get this figured out!

What I dont get is why Andrew from Hydra convinced us to go to 2.6, and then is telling me that you cant get around the factory rev limiter on the tC....yet you can do that with the E-manage ultimate??

and what is the factory rev limiter anyway, I have heard several 6500, 6250, 6100 but the red on the tach in the gauge cluster looks to start at around 6100-6200 which usually is where the factory rev limiters are

Just made a pass with it(Mustang Dyno), but still on the factory rev limiter, we tested and it works when we lower the limit, just not up

Change the rev limits in the settings menu. Both hard and soft up. Are you logging as it hits the rev limiter? Is it cutting fuel? Spark? Send me a log maybe I can take a look at it or post it here. Let me take a look at 2.6 software. I don't think there is additional setting in there but I may be mistaken. I don't see too many 2.6 boxes but have done tech support on them before.
