If it were me i WOULD NOT modify the air box on the supercharger kit. If you read the install article in Sport Compact Car Magazine about the supercharger they had brought out a point about the new TRD airbox that's included in the kit. Inside the airbox there is a funky looking tube that they said something to the effect of, "Don't be so quick to pull this little piece out thinking you'll be reducing restriction cuz this little piece helps the MAF sensor get a more accurate reading." I'm at work right now but when i get home i'll find the article and take a picture of exactly what i'm talking about and post it up.
