Actually I just looked and he did upgrade his kit, looks like tranny cooler, engine management and I didnt look any further.

I think that Dezod comes with management. But Comparing STOCK kit-STOCK kit.....PeteyD is not running a stock turbo kit. I am EXTREMELY impressed with PeteyD's numbers (and his attitude on this site). But this Dezod kit OUT OF THE BOX made higher numbers on .1 PSI more boost than Peteyd's modified kit.

So to say this is normal is incorrect.
Congrats DEZOD!!!

The thread that was made where I quoted him was a LONG time ago. It didn't have tranny cooler at that time. PeteyD can provide some insite for you more, as it's his car, not mine.

In the event that his car was equipped with a tranny cooler during the run....Do you really THINK a Transmission Cooler is going to increase HP...

220ish whp is to be expected on 4.9/5 PSI for an auto tC.

I know it wouldnt do much, its just what I found quickly. How about engine management? That is a HUGE difference.

I guess what I am getting at is...Dezod was posting up a nice show in ya stopped in with they ahhhh its normal whats the big deal. It broguth the whole ZPI VS.... thing in. Gets aggravating sometimes.

Back to topic.. Dezod, you guys need to show that the new tuner cars with autos can compete like the old school Grand nationals (and others) as autos could.

Just for clarification, I didn't come in to compare kits. Just saying that 220ish whp is to be expected that's all.

PM sent to avoid taking this off topic.

The Auto Guys are trying to give us manual guys a run for our money!

I would love put to my Supercharger up against one of the Auto turbos. I know I cant hang with the manuals but I think I could hang with this.

Oh yeah, that Would Be a HELLA Good race! I think I would have to wager in on this one, and place a few bets. Now you got me thinking...LOL. I would love to see such a race. I Love the close races, and honestly, I HAVE NO IDEA who would pull off the victory.

But I'm leaning towards the S/C (if manual) would come away with the vicotry.

Oh yeah...PM sent. No need to reply back though, just a sharing a few thoughts, I felt I had to get off my chest, with you.

^^Maybe go from a roll then. From a Stop, you could just feather the clutch out to reduce the wheel spin.

Thanks! Jeff (318_tC) has an axle back. No real exhaust (like our s-pipe back), and he is running 5 PSI on an out of the box auto kit. No other power adders, on pump gas and a 100% stock bottom end, head and tranny. No tricks up the sleeve. Straight shot with facts. Soon as Jeff emails me the sheets, I will host and post.

I don't think anyone on this board has tricks up there sleeves when it comes to turbo kits though. I believe everyone is running Out of the Box - on Stock Block turbo systems. I believe PeteyD has the TRD axle back on his car (he needs to get that crap taken off.... ).

I think we are all to poor to have anything "Special" under the hoods except that of the of the shelf kits. People are scrounging through the couches just to dig change for the purpose of buying the kit.

I dont' believe he did during the time of his recorded dyno runs. IF he does now, then it's a different ball game.

And he has engine management. Which is not available with the stage 0. And yes he does, or did start with a stage 0.

I thought it was a used Stage 1, because I saw a pic with a FMIC on the car.
