GOOOOOD Morning ladies and gents!!
Been a while since I've updated... unfortunately slow to the FI portion... minor road bumps in the way....
Sooo... The brakes are FINALLY done and fully functional again on my baby. Come to find out the caliper was blown on the left front, and given the weather, it's been tough to actually get the time to change it out.
Cool part though is the Dezod lines are in and I got some upgrading done to the car Hahaha Thanks again Paul!!
It was "Christmas day" all over again when the package finally arrived from Dezod (Pics attached) super fast shipping (but I am close to their location so that helps ) and as stated before the service is top notch and second to none!!
I completed the front two lines first little more than a week ago hoping that would fix the issue... but it didn't. So I had to order the caliper and wait to get it and wait on the weather... thankfully my 'rents have a semi-heated garage (50* during the winter) so I was able to get under and after it.
Did the quick replacement / core return and then installed the rear SSB lines on Saturday with the help of my B.i.L.
A quick review of the new lines...
Packaging was extremely neat and tidy, everything together. The install wasn't bad at all... just be prepared for a mess of brake fluid!! Everything is "plug and play", a direct bolt on from the OEM lines. Install I would rate a 2 out of 5 for skill level, very easy and straight forward for the new DIY'ers. The line construction looks great and looks even better on the car!! Pedal feel has changed dramatically... brake response now is immediate and sensitive (which is great). Especially around here on the snow and ice... being able to "feel" your brakes... these lines definitely give that.
All in all... HIGHLY recommend these lines!!! Well worth the upgrade for the price!!

I haven't noticed any difference there... it still kicks in but the pedal feel is so much tighter... but when the wheels slip, its definitely there. But I try and drive carefully with this crap weather hahaha... don't need to be a SVA (single vehicle accident) hahaha

Crap, just now catching up on a lot of info even tho you told me abt this thread like a month ago, 7 pages is a lot to read and take in...
WELL, uhhhhh, where do I start, Don't know weather to say sorry or congrats but like seeing the dedication thats going towards a boosted tc, wish the original xB/tC swap could've been done, but at least your looking towards the Dezod S1 kit. Even though it wont be for another 1 or 2 till I go boosted that definetly the one I plan on looking towards getting. (@Paul, hopefully I'll be able to hit you up when the time comes)
Appreciate the insight on Compression and Leak-down testing....????
Wish I had my own Alley, I get some likely results but more like
0 beers = 130
5 beers = 170
8 beers = 210
12+ beers = 80 and below
thats only bc I'm better than criminal

That's called "swing oil" hahaha... yeah I rolled a 289 a week ago and a 268 last night... but it's hit or miss... either im on fire or its just a night for beer!! Hahaha

Yeah I wish the swap could've worked, but like Paul an I chatted about... it was going to take extraneous amounts of $$ to make it work like it should, and at the end of the day... I could've just bought the Dezod kit outright and be up and running with minimal to no issues. So I lucked out and my bud has his kit back and I still have all my $$!! So... just waiting now to get my green light to purchase!
Now that the brakes are good to go... I have a Megan D-Spec exhaust coming... I will have that installed (cat back) in the next couple weeks... just for now though till the good weather breaks... only set me back $150 and only used in one competition!! It is in MINT shape.
And a HUGE thanks to you for reading up!!! Its stories like these I appreciate reading to get a few chuckles and a lot of insight an knowledge from others trials!! Stay tuned!!

Anywho, I didn't know that the last 12th possible strike was a 290 prior, and that if you knocked one pin on the 12th, you'd have 291. I guess I've never been close enough to experience it to do the math. Haha. Oh man...

For anything in bowling... scoring wise... each frame is worth 30 pins maximum. If you spare, the next ball counts towards that frame... i.e. if you get a 9/ then a strike... that's 20 points. conversely, if you strike then 9/... that's also worth 20 points, but the 9 comes into play... taking what could've been 40 to a 39 (second frame).
With strikes... the next TWO ***** count towards that frame score... X X X = 30 points. and so on and so forth... like above... say you roll X X 9/... your first frame score would be 29, second frame 49, and waiting on the very next throw to get your third frame score.
"... the more you know!" HAHAHAHA
And with regards to the 290 game... I actually rolled the next two strikes in the next game after that... I went 13 in a row... but yes psych is fun hahahaha
