wouldn't he throw a missfire code if that was the case? i figured if it was in the spark side it would throw a code for that.

It does sound like a head gasket. all the symptoms. Check your radiator fluid to see if it has oil in it. My integra did the same.

Is that bad?
Did the plug have oil on it? Piston rings/ your burning oil.
Did the smoke that came out have the smell of coolant, sort of sweet smell? or the smell of oil? coolant smell could be the obvious blown head gasket oil smell is not good.

I talked to Paul and told him its either a head gasket, and to get a compression check. That will answer all of our questions.

I think I am done with scion and toyota after this mess.

I am going to try and fix it in the morning. If I have to repair it so be it.

This is so much bull____ I don't even want to talk about it right now anymore.

I will buy a freaking geo if I have to so I don't feel the need to mod it.

No Paul! Your going to buy a 350, Evo, or Scoobaru! those are your options, or a 240!

I would be down with a 240, but I need to see what I can do to fix this for the time being with out spending freaking 2000 dollars

What I don't get is how I could have blown a head gasket on 6 PSI!?

There is something not right here. And it all started the day after the tune~

That's why I hadn't suggested that as an issue when we spoke on the phone earlier. It's definitely a possibilty, but the OEM head gaskets have been proven to handle over 20psi.

Let me know what the results are tomorrow so we can go from there. Hope it works out to be a quick and easy fix for you.

Well, if you don't have the money for such repairs after going forced induction, you probably shouldn't do it (or should have looked into it more).

Extreme change of weather from the tune could have a lot to do with it.

He had plenty of money, he used it when his motor blew to get another one, clearly he was prepared!
