I checked the plugs and they looked fine...should I still change them any way?

Oh, and when I got into the car this morning to try and turn it on it turned over then died right away. It would not hold an idle at all.

Well, if you don't have the money for such repairs after going forced induction, you probably shouldn't do it (or should have looked into it more).

There is something not right here. And it all started the day after the tune~
Extreme change of weather from the tune could have a lot to do with it.
I don't know his situation but it may not be the fact he don't have the money to repair but the fact that he's already repaired and spent money and now looks to have to repair again. It gets to a point where not that you don't have the money but how much you really want to pour into the car.

So I cleaned my MAF and let it dry. I went to turn the car on and it turns over, revs itself to around 1800RPM while on a cold start then dies off right away...

I am talking to my mechanic and he is saying that it might be a big vac leak

Have you checked all of the charge pipes? Maybe one of the pipes slipped out at the tuner's. If it's still partially attached, the engine would barely run but then die. Ceck all your charge pipes. The common points to look for is the turbo outlet, the two intercooler points, and the throttle body.

By change do you have an air compressor?

Did he pull the bumper off to check the charge pipes by the intercooler? Unless you remove the bumper or go underneeth the car (providing it has no plastic shrouds anymore) and pull on the pipes, it's really hard to tell.

I guess we;ll see how this day pans out.

I agree! Some are hard to tell, I am hoping it is just a pipe blew off.

Sounds like a sensor, vacuum source,or charge pipe, causing all this. It did the same thing when we blew the charge pipe off when we test drove it paul, did you take off the front bumper and check that pepboys clamp you bought, cause the was the problem last time, you couldn't tell if you didn't take off the front bumper. also check the o2 sensor to make sure it did not melt from the heat,

I remember the day I blew a charge pipe off at the track. I was half way through when it went so I just kept putting along. Luckily there was an early exit area where I was able to fix the car. It's definitely not fun, and the car is pretty much rendered useless at that point.

Yup, I have done that before at the track. Keep us updated Paul! I wanna see this problem fixed and the car running!

I tried to re seat my injectors and I got them all flush...then I started the car and I started spraying gas. I don't know what the deal is with my fuel rail/injectors

I will double check under neath but the last time I checked it all looked connected...

I would definitely try to reseat them again. Make sure all of the injector rings are in-tact. Occasionally, one may crack if they're being removed and replaced often. I know you didn't install the injectors originally. Maybe one of them is cracked. The dealer sells replacement rings for less than a buck.

Don't go by looks, because it can be very mis-leading. Grap the pipes and pull on them in every point to see if they move. Thats the best way to check that they're all connected properly.

Try clipping the injector back in. Then install the injector back on the fuel rail. It's an odd anomaly but that's a quick way to get it working.

At least it was only a charge pipe man!

BTW - I never got the diameters of the of the hose clamp you need. I still have some extras in stock. I can send you the one you need to replace the junk host clamp with a real Vibrant Performance T-bolt clamp . Let me know soon and I will send one out to you today. I need the pipe diameter, which should be either 2.25 or 2.5" depending on the location.
