The boost bug bit me on this one too and i had funds to the side for building, but i ended up selling it shortly before i put my plans into motion and bought my xB

How much were you putting down with the Civic @ 9lbs? @ 11lbs? Nice looking car by the way.

I have a video clip of a 0-110 on 6lbs of boost. Let me find it and upload it.
Here it is:
2002 civic on 6lbs of boost on a microscopic T25
The biggest flaw in my kit was the fuel system. The fuel system consisted of an injector block/spacer that went between the intake manifold and the throttle body that housed 2 additional injectors that were only on under boost and you had an ICU that you could tune the injectors by T-MS
Wasn't hard to tune. Using an Innovative LM-1 i tuned it around 11.2-11.5 which it would consistantly pull each time and had to make minor adjustments when the weather changed:

Rythm it's not a "breeze in the wind" lol...
I know your car has held up to 10.0 afrs, but that does not mean it's just as reliable as a properly tuned vehicle. Every car needs a specific tune so it runs the way it's supposed to. On a tC with the boost levels we run it at, 10.x afrs are just not the best thing for them. The start to run hot, and things wear out faster when they get hot. I'd say stick to 11.5 with some timing pulled. You can then increase the fuel pressure to lower detonation. That will make the car even more reliable. If anyone wants me to explain this farther let me know.

Ok, let me rephrase that...."it's a breeze in the wind...for ME". I'm not arguing with you, or trying to disprove you, all I'm simply doing is stating the facts about OUR car in particular. Never had an engine problem....so I would say that was quite reliable don't you think. Run 10's at wot for a year now, no problems. So, again, maybe we just have a magical engine or something...

My only thing I was trying to clarify was this:
Although it may be working fine, even after a full year, it's still not the BEST tune you can have. Things working doesn't always mean they're working to the best of their ability. That's the only point I'm trying to make.

PIG rich = high EGTs
Gotta get my car retuned again cuz now for some reason it wants to run in the 10's under boost all the time now when on the dyno it was low 11s

this guy in arlingon, Alamo Autosports, says my AFR is 18:1......................
and no my piston are still working so I dont know but I paid for some ppl a months salary to get nothing done to my car.........
