heavy hitters from the West Coast are going to VIR in October, im sure if Joe is serious about time attack he will go. It isnt like driving 20 minutes to go to a local dragstrip, you have to be dedicated.

More competition is what makes racing fun. Im sure time attack will only grow as people attended more and more and get hooked. The thing is, so many people say they will do it but don't. People come up with excuses all the time "my brake pads arnt coming in in time" or I dont have good enough suspension"... things like that. The reality is, it doesnt matter what u have especially your first time out. Time attack is awsome because you see many different cars with completely different set-ups all run on the track together. There are some really cool cars signed up for next weekend, Caterham super seven, 1965 Daytona Coupe, Masetati Spyder, Lotus Elise, and the normal import rwd's such as 350z's, s2000's... RWD looks real interesting for next weekend.

So don't take offense aen... but I don't expect to see you anytime soon on the track. Proof will be in the pudding when you actually attend.

Hahhaa...

Well I'll attach a couple pics of me racing I guess for now. At the last time attack event, I outpaced an 03 BMW M3, and the Porsche Carrera. Beat them both by a few seconds. Paul can attest to my driving ability and how much I can squeeze out of a car. I got black flagged on one lap due to my exhaust getting so hot my rear bumper melted and was pouring smoke out on the track. They thought the car was on fire.


If you want a "power" war and feel as though that's the only thing that makes a track worthy car, then you're welcome to run against my GSX. On the last dyno I made 432 AWHP with a 16G. I have since upgraded to an 18G to keep EGTS down.

My Mazda is probably only making 250hp (for now), but with the suspension/tire combo I have, among other things, it mops up cars on the road race track. It was nice passing a 350Z, Evo, and Honda S2000 at the last event. Even Todd from TT was there as I did this

Where is the video showing me "how to make a car video". Should I create a thread for you so you can post it up?

Would be nice to see you put that 8 on the track with the PTuning tC to see how they compare. I think PTuning will give you a good run seeing as how the their tC was only a second off of the time of a 500-600whp Time attack prepped G35.

I am trying to make it to VIR to catch the PTuning car in action there. There might be another tC joining the round of cars out at VIR also.
