Didn't mean to thread jack. My bad. Just didn't have the time to make a new thread about this that wouldn't get many repsonses. Back to Travis....

Will the new video be up soon?

^^Yeah, it will. I got hung up today and waisted a LOT of time. I was testing out the car and got stranded cause it died on me. After about an hr of tinkering around to see what the problem was, turned out to be an ignition fuse.

I will make a thread on that later as to why the fuse blew, it had to do with my Mishimoto radiator that I dropped in the other night.

So, I assure you guys that Part 2 will be up tomorrow evening.

Travis,

I love it!!! We''ll have an IO port camera mount for summit and VIR. We'll try to get some more in car action at the next two events.

We will try to post some pics of something we've been working on since we got back from the nashville event. More custom one-off machined parts to add to the build list. If there's a demand for it, we may produce it in quantities for sale--trust me, you don't want to spend the kind of money we've put into our car to develop these one-off custom parts. For those that are serious about racing the tC in the modified or unlimited time attack class, you're going to want this setup.

Hope to see some of you at Summit Points this weekend.

MrC

Nice! Thanks MrC. Don't worry though, I told Ross that I would put together a CD with all the footage on it and send to you guys. I have not forgotten about you guys. Just been busy moving into a new place, so been busy. I will put that CD together with all raw footage and get that off to you. I hope to see you guys out at VIR. And Summit, I'm going to have to hit up next time.

Much better videos Travis. I'm sure you have more respect for the track cars after seeing how much fun real racing is on a closed course.

Hopefully we see some vids of you on the track soon.

Hopefully yes... I'm working on cooling mods presently, with the Mishimoto done, I will look for adding the oil cooler, and TRD thermostat next.

I've always had much respect for track cars. I love racing period.

Good stuff man. Cooling is a great thing to have for the track lol.

I've been doing every mod for my RX8 possible before we go for the turbo system. I'd rather have fun on the track than worry about breaking stuff all the time haha...

I look forward to more vids, and hope I can make a decent one tomorrow for you guys.

Thank you sir...

I have only a few hours left to get to sleep and I still need to figure out how to make a camera mount. I don't have a headrest post to use like most cars lol... I guess some drilling/bolting is in order.

I did the following today...
Tranny, Diff, and Brake fluid flush.
Increase preload on Greddy Type-S coilovers
Increased damper stiffness.
Put in RacingBeat test pipe.

The car feels much better now. I think tomorrow I should be able to cut a couple seconds off my time from the last time I went. Hopefully at least a full second.

It would be pretty sweet to meet up with a crew like yours. You have jester, you, and a handful of other boosted tC's.... I have only seen one boosted tC around here haha and he had the treadstone kit and also was running untuned. So really, we don't have anyone laying power down around here that I know of... I would love to be the first one to do so, and if I had it my way I would purchase PTunings kit. I would love to see what it feels like to ride in a boosted tC as well. Hey trav, you should come up here for the Import face-off event :D KCMO isn't too far is it?? That would be kick ___, but I know you just moved and hell, you don't even know me hahaha...

Why didn't you install the thermostat when you put in the radiator? That way you didn't have to lose coolant again haha...

Yes, cooling is a great idea. Cooler = more power!

Not to get too off topic, that in car vid was amazing!

I was going to go ahead and do the Tstat at the same time, but funds were tight, and the radiator couldn't wait, so I just went ahead and installed it.
