Default Injector Duty Cycle **Dyno Vid too**

.
Hey guys,
I have a strange problem, my TC is fully built 1200cc injectors and dual Aeromotive fuel pumps. It runs on E-85 it ran out of injectors at 16psi the duty cycle was at like 98-100%. We actually had to pump up the fuel pressure to get the AFR's down to an acceptable level.

This is strange though don’t you guys think? What are you guys running on your TC’s? My plan was to put it up to 22psi but we couldn’t. One of the guys at the dyno was saying that its power to the fuel pumps. We only have one relay running for both pumps. He said to put two relays for each pump at that would fix the issue. He said it happened to him with his turbo civic that makes 680whp. What do you guys think? Last time I dynoed it, it made 450 at 18psi but had a stock throttle body. We put a larger one now at we are not running into this lean issue.

In the meantime check out the dyno vid the car sounds sick at just 16psi it made 425..We actually had to lower the boost

i have 1100 and made 520 at 24 psi with a 6262 and 60psi pressure at the fuel rail. also i pumped it up to 75-80psi and hit 28psi of boost and still had fuel left but was scared to go more. i also was revving the car out to 8k

E85, 6262, 60psi base at the rail, Dual Deatchwerks 300lph pumps, 1300cc inj's

At 29psi the car kept up with a 598rwhp turbo C6 from a 60 roll - 150ish, but never dyno'd. Guess around 600whp. IDC was at 85-88%

Never used e85, but a friend of mine has a Supra that does and I remember watching the guy tune it and at the same psi tuning on 93 octane pump and e85, the injector duty was a few percent higher. I asked why that is and he told me that to make the same power at same boost, it takes more e85 than pump gas usually, though detonation is lower chance when using e85 because it cools the combustion chamber better than pump.

Dawg and Tom are you running dual pumps? IF so do you have two relays or just one? If its just one how big?

Thanks

Im using two standard 25a automotive relays - one for each pump. The power source is fed from an 8awg wire that used to be used for an amp, and they are controlled by a wire ran direct from my EMS.

How did you calculate the IDC? At 98-100% your injectors would have been spratic and staying open.
