It holds boost rock solid. 2nd and 3rd gear you get 5psi immediately on WOT. It is a hell of a difference.
good to hear

Wow that sounds good on the TC. It sounds like crap on the GTI so it surprised me. Have you tried it being completely recirculating?

Forge's site has a pretty good picture walkthrough but you get nice subtle sound and awesome performance.

Im gonna check that out, It came with instructions, but it basically just tells you which way to turn it. It sounds like when im at 5grand its leaking boost on the atmospheric side before i even shift. dont know if thats normal, dont think so though. I really havent had time to mess with it since i installed it.

I have one...I had it on for an afternoon, just to see how it worked - I sorta guestimated where the spring tension should be and went for a couple drives - it's not really loud, but it's definitely noticeable. I was going away for the weekend, and I didn't want to have trouble while I was 120 miles away, so I pulled it off and I'm going to fool around with it this weekend. I'd really like to get a vacuum pump and see where how the splitter compares to the stock Bosch on the vacuum end, because it seems to flutter at idle.

It holds boost rock solid. 2nd and 3rd gear you get 5psi immediately on WOT. It is a hell of a difference.
You get 5psi immediately provided when you get to wot you are at the correct rpm to get that boost. You're not going to get 5psi @ wot and only 2-3k rpm... Our boost doesnt work that way.

agreed. this is not a roots style blower. it builds up boost pressure according to rpm.

I'd say for our car, 5psi would be at 5500 rpm at WOT
