Uhmm...yes you can...the AEM standalone gives the option of tossing the MAF and going
speed density...or is it MAP?
even u said it was a "standalone".... I dont wanna back off on this... where did I read ( or did I hear it from Paul's mouth?? ) that you stil have to use the MAF sensor with the AEM EMS...Hydra may do it differently...I think I'm going with Hydra myself soon( was gonna go AEM)
before this gets confusing, i forgot to use the quote feature thats why Mr_Meaty thought i was just making a statement.

i was speaking to you Bryan, The AEM"standalone" and Hydra "standalone" allow you to switch to a speed density/MAP setup doing away with the MAF.
(318 TC is not using a MAF on his set up)

the AEM "EMS" does not offer this feature...that i know of

olaHalo did you have to trim your bumper(vents in particular)for this set up?

i'm thinking of a 28X7X2.5 intercooler but i want to either go under the radiator or OVER the fakey vents like rxtc. avoiding having to trim the bumper too much if at all.

as my official spokesperson said, it you shouldnt have to cut anything if you do it right.
Me? i didnt do it right lol.
i mounted the intercooler centered damn near perfect to the crazhbar; but it turns out the crashbar isnt centered perfectly on the car!
my sits a little ( youd never notice) to the left, and touchs right where the little clip attaches to the grill. so when i find a grill (someone through mine away) ill have to cut it maybe 1.4 inch to get it to fit properly
