Default An interesting idea.

I was wandering if there is a way to change the amount of boost I'm getting and other things on the fly at certain speeds?
For instance 500 hp is pointless in a daily driven front wheel drive car because it'll just spin the tires.
But if you limited it to 300hp until you hit say 70mph then it would be useful.
Anyways it was just an idea that popped in my head today and thought I'm through it out there.
Thanks. ;-)

Agree standalone. AEM. you can also do boost by speed. It's how I had mine set up. Only down side is if you make big power 3rd gear will spin. Once that happens your mph goes up. This makes the boost pressure go though the roof or to your max setting. Depending where you have it set.

Ok. Cool.
My TC has an automatic transmission. Are there any concerns with this kind of set up on it?
I will be doing work to the transmission before I do anything to increase the power so it can handle it.

Boost Controllers do that, no need to speed $1k's on a standalone and void the emissions test.

TurboSmart's EBC will do boost by gear or by speed.

Standalones = Non-street legal use only, that's why they are the best. So, unless you plan on buying/bribing your emissions tester or buying a second piggy back to utilize for that emissions day, and then throw your Standalone back on, you won't be able to stay street legal.

Pretty sure ThenDawg was pushing 600whp on an Emanage Ultimate.

Emanage Ultimate, not Emanage Blue. Blue is a crappy, the Ultimate is not. Maybe he can chime in, but I'm pretty sure he had the Ultimate far longer than a month.

He ran the Ultimate for a little over a year. Just talked to him on FB. He said it was up for sale, but can't buy it since it's a standalone. Still need to drive my tC on the streets until I get my FR-S.

Wasn't questioning what he was running or ran recently, just remembered he ran the Ultimate for a lot longer than a month.

PS...you may speak about it numerous more times as I don't remember what people run on a constant basis
