Jessicas comp 67mm DYNO VID / .63ar TBB dyno 527 WHP DEZOD KIT, AEM EMS
Ok I finally uploaded the vids after about 10 hours ...lmao.. that took a LONG time, I accidently downloaded them in HD>. haha
first vid is just looking around at the car and a few images of the HRE's
second vid is of in-car of a dyno run. without spraying the intercooler (it was hot out)
third vid is outside dyno run on the rollers.
readings are quite low on a dynomite, similar to a mustang dyno or DD. dynojet #'s would have been a bit more.
I just switched froma 61mm with a .58 ar journal bearing the night before, to the 67mm tbb with a .63 ar, so I didnt have time to get the tune 100%, I have almost got the tune where I need it now, and we go back in some days to get the better #'s and graph, I only got to work on it some that day at the dyno. will have much more info and vids to come.
setup includes:
Toyota new shortblock
BC rods
CP pistons, ring gap set to my personal specs
BC valves
BC retainers
BC springs
stock toyota head
crower stage 2 F/I camshafts
toyota rod and main bearings
ballancer shaft elimination
1/8 npt plug and reverse thread plug with blue loctite
stock toyota crankshaft
stock main caps and bolts: edit.. lol.. said studs
arp headstuds
OEM headgasket
Stock sleeves
FX700 TWIN DISC
AEM EMS
DEZOD turbo kit and intercooler kit with LOG style manifold, 38mm tial wastegate with 11 psi spring
aem tru boost controller
Return fuel system
a bunch of other things like gauges, stiffy dampner, HRE Wheels ETC....
Thats the basics.
dyno runs were on q16 AF's 11.4-11.6's falling into the 10's past 6800
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tu4l5VLB5j8
527.7 WHP run
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqPX2uj5NIk
In-car run around 22 psi on the aem log this dyno is around 500whp.

what do u mean all shes missing is sleeves.. practically fully built, this makes me very happy to see that we can make over 5 on the dezod log mani.. :D all i need are sleeves cuz i bored 20 over but then im set to go over 500 aswell

I swear man, I think you will be fine on just that much.. thats not a whole lot. Push it man .. I wouldnt worry at 500whp as long as you have a good tune

Nevermind, understand you got it from somewhere else.
So, the only thing left on the kit that's Dezod is what? Manifold, and intercooler pipes and piping?
Any log manifold cracking issues come up?

The turbo is the same that dezod sales, exactly. the whole kit is complete dezod basically.

Would that be something you would have to call Dezod up for? You know, to get this turbo?
And have you made dyno pulls on pump gas before and without the intercooler Nitrous/Cryo spray? Interested in what you were able to achieve, as I have seen as much as a 50whp gain just from spraying the intercooler during the dyno run, as well as seeing secs drop off the 1/4 mile drag run simply from spraying the intercooler. But you don't roll around spraying the intercooler, so just out of curiousity, wanted to see what type of power goals can be had for a more "normal" person with a built motor and Log manifold and Super huge turbo to go on it.
And manifold cracking. I myself had manifold cracking issues on my old Log ZPI manifold until it was modded by ZPI and prevention of cracking was GREATLY increased. I've seen some threads popping as of late of a Dezod manifold cracking as well. Have you had manifold cracking issuses arise?

ya i noticed that aswell travis, Justin, you honestly think i could push 500WHP on bored 20 over stock sleeves? Its scary, also i forgot to mention my K1 rods would be pushing to the limit aswell. I have a Garret 60-1 .70 comp, .63 exhaust with a stage5 wheel, i also have BC headwork minus cams, u think i can make power to like 7800?
