If 300 is your power goal, you can reliably make that on a stock motor with proper tuning. If you want to go to 350, it can be done, but can also be unpredictable. With good fuel and a great tune it could be reliable. Anything over 350 is asking for trouble on a stock bottom end.

okay i think ill stick with 300 i want it to be reliable cause it my daily driver so if i rebuild it ill just do a stock rebuild and i have a question about my turbo it has miner shaft play like side to side and a little up and down but no in and out play is that okay cause i have read that its not a big deal and then i have read that its not good

I think you pay 1000 dollars additional to the price up front then you get that money back once they receive your core making the price of the block 2600. I may be understanding it wrong though...

going from stock to 300 is a HUGE change. 300whp for a daily driver is PLENTY on our platforms. you can pull on lots of cars, and its a lot of fun. and its not too expensive at 300.

With a standard size t3/t4 youcan make 240-260whp but thats getting pretty damn close to maxing them out. I would go with 550cc's or bigger.
