Default Just bought a TRD s/c...

Now what?

I'm fixing to get it installed sometime this week by the dealer. I'm trying to keep my warranty, and it seems like the s/c is the end of the road since I can't get headers or a cai.

What other performance things can I do to the car without voiding?

I assume I can get an exhaust... I don't want anything loud at all though... any recommendations? Or do I have to get the TRD to avoid voiding the warranty?

Whatever you do, don't get pullies or remove the tamper-proof cap.

you can get a full exhaust, minus the headers
my person opinion is that the Draxas catback + Spipe sounds the best.
that will not void your warranty.

There's really not a whole lot you can do...

as boost controllers is for turbo's

as smaller pulley is for s/c's

if you got it cheap enough, i say screw warranty, because by reading from what you said, you want more power.

Just wait until your warranties run out and then start modding it.

well better performance..not just hp and keeping the warranty with the S/C?

- iridium spark plugs
- axle back exhaust ( i like the TRD personally )
- shocks
- tires
- Larger S-Pipe

no you do not have to purchase all TRD accessories going forward.

It all depends what you want to do man - if you are going to keep the stock s/c dont bother getting methanol (thats for sure) - if you want more sound get a different exhaust and spipe and call it a day. Unless you swap pullys, and get a bunch of other mods you wont feel a big hp increase. The s/c deff does help make the car a lot more fun to drive but to keep your warranty you have to give some on the performance side. I havent done this (yet ....and dont know if i ever will) but I might get a light crank pulley down the road. As of now people ahve run a bunch of miles w/ light pulleys and I dont know if there has been any issues. NST swares by them and many MANy people love them and deff feel a power increase but im still waiting that out (its a personal choice).

People always say this, but it's their choice to void their warranty just as it is the choice for people who want to go turbo. I knew I was going to void my warranty, I didnt get the S/C to have a warranty. I got it because My Preff: SuperCharger > Turbo.

I don't know what it is, but since I got my GramLights I havent had any issues with Wheel-hop anymore??? Weird.

Except he explicitly said that he wants to keep his warranty.

What particular form of racing do you do with your S/C'er?

Tc's come from the factory with iridium plugs and the supercharger comes with iridiums that are one step colder. Replacing the plugs with the stock boost would be a waste.
