Thanks for all the responses! I think after I can get my s/c in I'll go for the TRD exhaust and lower it. I could get that new LSD right? How much do you think that will help?

I'm actually having trouble finding a good dealer to install my s/c right now. Anyone in Austin know which dealer I should go to?

I've spoken with all the dealers in my area on phone and by email, and I'm getting really weird responses. Check my other thread about it: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=156909

Thanks again guys!

I had mine installed for $445+tax.

Don't you dare pay a grand.

The installs range in price depending what cost you are on. Install prices on the low but good end are totalling $440-$560.00 I think mine cost around $550 and that was the pure lowest on my area - some places wanted over a grand.

To bad getting a GReddy emanage or Unichip will void your warranty you can get an extra 25 to 30 hp on a stock supercharger set up. I know some people that are using them now,

I think I'm in the same boat as you. As far as performance, in addition to keep warranty and the s/c you don't have many options.

Weight reduction is great, but hard to do (if you want your rear seats like I do)

there;s a thread on removing weight, great info...do a search

lightweight rims will help with performance, an LSD would as well (only slightly if you're going in a straight line, moreso if you like your car to turn lol)

I'm trying to plan out my mods as well, maybe someone else can answer my question to.

Will replacing my flywheel with a lightweight flywheel void my warranty? it's not exactly engine enhancing, but it is performance enhancing.

Same question with a bigger throttle body.
thanks all

your flywheel isnt going to fail .... so its not going to cause any other part to fail .... so it wont void anything. If you want to be exact ....it will ...but to be honest ...it wont.

It's an 05 tc. I got the s/c installed on Friday for 630 bucks. I had to drive 2.5 hours away to a dealer that would install it for that cheap, but it was totally worth it because they were the only dealer within many miles who had done the install before too.
