Default Just installed turbo and car wont start

As it says, just installed my turbo and the car wont start. It cranks but it gets harder and harder almost like the battery is dead but all the lights come on. Any one think it could be ECU related? Installed a Phillips Allan Racing X1 ECU and that was the ONLY electrical upgrade that I did. Any one else have this problem when upgrading there ECU or installing turbo altogether?

Seems like all I ever post is problems so I really appreciate the help

Maybe some type of initial config is required with the APR unit? Im not too familiar with that unit so I couldnt say. Im sure Dezod will chime in and assist.

try to start the car by pushing it and then popping the clutch. if it starts, then you probably have a dead battery, if not, then you probably have some sort of fuel or spark issue. make sure that all electrical connections have been re connected, (maf sensor, map sensor, injectors, coils, etc..). also make sure that the maf isn't in backwards.

if your using 550cc injectors or smaller i would unplug the apr unit and see how it starts. if it starts better than its tune related ( or how the apr is set up)

if its still hard starting id check for vac leaks and the maf sensor.

are you saying after the car warms up and you shut it off and restart it takes it longer to start or is it like the starter just doesnt have enough juice?

when you turn the key to start does the dome light dim really bad? does the starter engage at all? do you just get a few clicks when you try to start?

Yeah, EVERYTHING dims really bad. It seems like theres a huge load on the battery somewhere. Im sure the starter engages because it cranks.

I have a meter some where around my pile of tools laying on the ground. Ill check all the grounds first thing tomorrow, im not sure why i would randomly have a bad/missing ground now since i didnt even touch one ground on the install and it worked just fine before, but we'll go with the half-split method! Plugged the APR into my computer with the ignition to on, but not started (obviously) and it seems like the XTune software isnt the most user friendly. It would be nice if i KNEW what i was looking for to know that I'm connected to it so I have no idea if i was even able to load the base map. The lack of some kind of instruction manual to the software makes things that much harder. The only thing that is different that connects to the ECU are the injectors.

Take the battery to a local part store to charge and test. Advance Auto, Autozone, Carquest, and Napa usually will test for you. Check ground wires like everyone else is saying as well. Do you have a tuner for the unit? The tuner will need to adjust setting immediately from the unit. No two cars with the same setup will run identical for various reasons i.e. resistance differences in wiring, sensors, and/or relays and etc.
