Default Jwaggz82 - Tune Results 7lbs boost - 227whp - 195 trq

So today was the day I actually had my car tuned with the emanage ultimate. I am running stock boost and the car drives A LOT better after the tune. I visited RIPPmods on Staten Island, NY and they have base tunes which are darn near perfect. A 1/2hr later I was done and the car just plainly drives better in all gears. The tune is surely safe ....there is always plenty of gas and the car never leans out. Here are the results:

Future plans are to up the boost once I find out more about that BS lock thats on the pulley. I need to find out if the thread on the bolt is the same as a normal bolt. If so - What size bolt? If anybody has those answers or wants to comment - feel free.

Getting tuned with 9.5lbs is going to give you around 245-255whp with my setup (another guy dyno'd his and the difference between his and mine is just the header)

Wow, some really nice numbers for a SC. What supporting mods you got for it?
I'm trying to convice my buddy to get the SC since he is '06, but he want's over 200whp.

I use this car every day so I dont want to mess with it much - if i upgraded my injectors, fuel pump, and ran 10.5lbs boost - the numbers would be around 290whp

Forge 007 with yellow spring. The forge with green spring would be fine also (for now) - but I do have a knockoff of it that is brand new ...let me know if anybody wants it. If you have the stock boost and are running the stock bpv .....this one will be noticible change becase of the spring and the fact its metal not thin plastic. It will also be good atlest to 10lbs of boost. I will be finding out how the Forge 007 holds 10.5lbs ....but I need someone to take their s/c bolt off and let me know what the thread looks like. I dont want to take the bolt off and not have anything to put in its place. I have the pulley and belt already - its a matter of time to get the last details before getting retuned

(with out blowing the engine or ruining anything)

Checked your profile:
Intake, header, exhaust and methonal injection? not bad.
I'm sure my buddy would be fine with all that except the methonal. How much do you tihnk that's helping you?

hahaha nice numbers man there sure as hell got there ____ together over there with tuning the tcs i cant wait to go back and have mine tuned again by them cause my car feels like it needs a tune once again, i can just feel it and now the car is running sluggish and my afrs are a little weird somtimes, i bet they tryed to talk u into the super cams huhhhh? they had that guy that went there with super cams and made 315 whp with the supercharger they do some nasty work over there, im highly looking forward to getting my car tuned there again. it feels beast once i get it back. ohh and by the way do u know how much they charge for the meth injection with install and all.

Awesome numbers at 7psi. best I hit at 9.5 psi was 237, (without a tune). so to hit 227 with 2.5 psi less, is awesome.

The most psi I would tell anybody to run for a long term setup would be 11lbs. I have fear of blowing the head gasket.

No - there is no engine work done (maybe in a few years from now).

Yes the tune is with methanol. And the methanol will help with more boost ....it prob gave me minimal gains but it also keeps the gains more consistant on hotter days.

Yup - karl was the guy with the 315whp with cams. I think it was 320whp on a cold start but 315 consistant .....anyway ....yes if you dont mind getting new injectors and fuel pump ..... you can run 11lbs and be right at 300whp which is about 350 crank hp.

yea - I would hopefully be at around 250-255whp with a tune at 9.5lbs but im not going to 9.5lbs with my next tune .....we shall see what happens

The car honestly feels darn quick since the tune ..... its crazy how much just a better tune can help a car
