Mid 9's with 271whp...Ouch! Time for either of two things, tires or practice...

It was definitely the tires. The reason both munch and I were so much faster than the competition was because he has slicks and I'm on DRs. Everyone else had street tires, and on an unprepped track, that makes all the difference.

I watched allot of these guys race. Tried to help a few as well.

Was a good turnout, wish we could get that many Scions at a drag event here in AZ.

Regards-

Todd

No, that was Nelson Hoyos. He knows his stuff. Wish I was on that level. I came down for about an hour to check things out, was great to see that many cars. Nelson was really pleased with the turnout and the willingness of the racers to listen and learn.

Todd

Yeah Nelson was awesome. I didn't get a chance to thank him for helping us all out. I'm still not sure if I met you or not, Todd. I was in the NB tC w/ Drag Radials.

There are very very few quick boosted ZX2's trapping in the 110+mph range (so far I only know of like 3 that can do those speeds in the 1/4, mine and 2 more that have similar setups to mine). Buddy did 13.4 @ 110 w/ a t3 t04e 50 trim .48 a/r on 8psi. I can't wait to get mine converted to blow thru and go play with it >.>

Trust me, you wouldn't be laughing when one of those ZX2's is right there with you ;) Mine's the only one running a BOV, the other's are sissies and run BPV's.

edit: and I hear ya, I'm usually looking for an STi or an Evo to pick on
