Call me ignorant up till now, but I have seen the light. An UN-advertised feature on the Emanage Ultimate....2step launch control.

No WotBox, no Full Standalone....Emanage Ultimate has it. Saved me $200 bucks from needing to buy the WotBox.

Simple as apple pie to setup, cause all you do is type in numbers. I can't fully engage it yet as the car is not tuned, so when I hit the 2 step, it bogs and cuts off (un-tuned). So, when I get the tuning bugs worked out on it, it will be good to go.

 

Does it have ignition/fuel cut so you can WOT shift?

 

Yes, ign cut. Not fuel cut though. For WOT shifting, I believe it needs to be hooked to the clutch switch. I have not got that far on it yet, in my setup. Been doing mostly research and asking other car makes who are using it.

Yes, it's called Ignition Cut Settings, located on the IGN tab in the Parameters Section (little car icon).

The box for "Shift UP" is for WOT shifting. The Start RPM is for what you want to launch at. The IGN Cut RPM box is basically whatever your redline is set to. Your "Shift UP" number has to be lower than your IGN Cut RPM setting.

I will try and get it setup more and try to get some vid or something.

Also from my understanding, the 3 boxes (Start RPM, IGN Cut RPM, and Shift Up), have a check box next them. If you check either of those boxes or all of them, they will correspond to the Timing adjustment number listed in the box below called "IGN Adjustment".

IGN Adjustment adjust the ignition timing so that you can actually spool the turbo during the 2 step.

^^No kiddin. I tried the 2 step a little today. I have it set at 3k rpm. When I did it, it thru a CEL. I assume it's for Mis-fire. Anyone get mis-fire cel when the launch control hits. What about the WOTBox users? You guys get a Cel uning the 2step on the WOTBox?

No, I'm cel free. I was cel free on the Blue box, and also Cel free on the Ultimate + Blue box (yes, I'm running dual management, however only the Ultimate is controlling the car). Blue box Cel table is all zeroed out.

flashing is NOT good, that means it's more than emissions related.

no not entirely true when a cel flashes its telling you that damage to the cat can result from the code that it is currently throwing..thats what my toyota instructor said about flashing CELs....and travis it flashes and then goes away...and if you do it a couple more times it will flash and then stay there...i clear my codes every two days lol
