So back to the topic at hand, I am putting up the videos and pics as I speak, but I like to say "my bad" for 1-2 days "forever", I ran into two probs... first, the clamp on the throttle body was stripped, and so we hooked up a boost controller and "bing" had a boost leak, running at 7lbs rather than 9 lbs. Before this dyno I was pushing 9lbs without a good amount of mods and pushed 225 hp. with 193 hp. And this run was about 219 hp and 188-190 torque. So now I have a boost leak somewhere else, guessing the forged spring in the by-pass valve is creating this prob for me. I am going to fix this whenever the next business day is, and continue to my goal. Boosting is like filming a movie, not matter how prepared you are, "ish" is always going to happen.

The transfer is crappy, but it's there. The readings were 219 hp and 188 torque. The humidity was 50% and it was about 98% for the weather. So not great dyno weather, beside the fact, more will be coming soon...

Well I order the new spring for the by-pass valve, but it is not coming in till...Monday of next week . So I will put in the Methanol still and dyno it again to see what I gain. Chances this will get done by tomorrow. It is a lot cooler today though, better for dyno. I will keep everyone posted!

Good News. We oiled the spring in the by-pass valve and boost was up to 9 lbs again. So that issue may just be ok now. Just need to finish putting the meth in with a dyno and I will have another dyno update with videos and pic. thanks guys for your patience. I am excited to get this going!

Well, I haven't been lagging. Today is the day (haha, hopefully!) the meth kit me and my bro installed was not running correctly, was not vaccuming correctly, so HOPEFULLY, I am taking to addictive, so they can fix and dyno at once, cause I am falling behind and...well...thats not good. Keep everyone watching posted.

just wondering... why did you dyno in 3rd? isnt 4th closer to a 1:1 ratio?

4th geear dyno's are better because they will show a smoother power curve, less spikes. But it seems 3rd has always been the gear of choice for dyno runs.
