Ceramic coating is good to like 15-1600 deg. And many have seen f/i vehicles easily reaching above that...

There are many hi-temp coatings that are good to like 2000, and they are more function than look... A fairly local shop in VA does a hi-temp coat in titanium color, so I am gonna head over there this week to take a look...

If I'm not mistaken, the black is high temp coat.

ace: the polished black is nice, but youcan't say that and not post a pic!

Usually... As far as a polished black in hi-temp I haven't seen one...

No seeing as the hi-temp coating are infused in the metal, and not just a coating like powder coating, I wonder if it would be possible to polish it...

Im no expert on this, but this is what I was told by the shop that will be doing my manifold... I was scared of it somehow flaking off and ruining some fins...

the polished black is not high temp, and I think Java had that, and yeah, it started flaking off.

Mine (the pic I posted) was not the polished black...it was the high temp black.

That polished manifold loooks crazy good. It looks crazier than my EL manifold

I'm thinking of ceramic coating it in the future. With that in mind, I plan to make 500whp. I don't know what kind of temperatures the manifold will get too, but i'm sure its gonna be high.

Any recommendations on the highest temp ceramic coating I can get? or where I can get it for that matter?

I prefer functional over visual.
