Long drive to my tuner, need suggestions

^^ lol thats crazy.. remember, this is a 6-7 hrs drive.. I would drive a slightly crappy tune for like 1-2 hrs but 7 hrs will be like abusing the car.. what if something blows in the middle of nowhere or the car start fire haha 10 mins of fire will toast the entire car before any help gets there.. so stock injectors and just stock ecu will be better?

putting the stock (smaller) injectors back in is gonna make the car run LEANer, not RICHER. Now 550injectors and stock ecu (no blue) will make it run richer, if you wanna try that.
I'd say just run like you are and take a break ever 2 hours or so. That's what I'm doing on my drive to AZ on Wednesday. My cruize AFRs are pretty steady at 14.5, but a little off throttle stuff and it bounces like crazy...but it's been REAL bad this last week...like 17s!

looks like ill be towing... one of the injectors was leaking fuel. the start up was smooth but it started sputtering after a bit (aem doesnt have a vac line on it either). still need gauges/exhaust/vac block/dumptube to be put on.

I've tried running 550s on stock ecu and its crap, car dies if i i press on the throttle to much.. thats what i thought too meaty stock injectors will make it leaner.. but i dont know stock injectors and just ecu.. i think im gonna run it the way it is right now, afrs was actually better today. i just need an oil restrictor so i wont destroy my ballbearing

it puts your car into dummy mode, and makes you run rich..

so...when are you starting your drive?
I was running rougher then I like since I got the higher flowing air filter and the new midpipe, so I disconnected my battery to clear my long term fuel trims....haven't started the car yet hope I can get to work!
But yeah, my 5 hour drive starts tomorrow!

Why are you going thru all this trouble of removing injectors and all sorts of stuff. Just put the greddy fuel map on your emanage. That is notoriously rich and safe. Like Meaty said, putting your stock injectors back in will cause an even leaner condition. Save yourself the trouble and just put the greddy map on.
