Loss in power before boost
When driving I get a loss in power right before boost kicks in at 1-2 psi then the car starts to pull . Feels like it needs gas or is getting to much . Idk but u can feel the car fall on it's face untill it builds up a little more boost then it pulls till whatever psi then when I shift it dies for a sec then pulls .
Also another problem is when from a complete stop 1st gear does bot get boost it red lines before boost kicks in then shift to second it starts boost at around 35k to 4 rpms . Is this common ?

tune and possible boost leaks..you should be building boost and reach full spool sooner than 4k. full spool should be (8psi) at around 35k with that turbo.
does the car stall out at anytime? have you gotten tuned?

im not too familiar w the unichip. id assume it comes w a base map. general rule of thumb is no matter what management system ur runnin, ud still need it tuned. no 2 cars are the same, plus theres too many things to factor in such as climate, atmospheric pressure and so on and so forth. id contact them and see if they can be tuned by a professional tuner and go from there.

partial throttle means your foot is not hammered all the way down. and if its happening at partial throttle it is because the unichip cannot tuned partial throttle and that means you are running to lean at that spot and you need to invest in an FiC or an ultimate.

To the OP: You really need a wide band AFR gauge to see what's going on with your tune. Also a OBDII scan tool is required for any meaningful self-diagnostics. Otherwise you need to find a Unichip tuner or switch to the FIC and find a FIC tuner.

Since when does the Ultimate tune part throttle (closed loop) enrichment? The only way to do that is by modifying the primary oem WB O2 sensor signal to tell the ECU that the AFR is lean, making the ECU add extra fuel. The FIC does this but the Ultimate can't, AFAIK.

You could do that with any piggyback including the Unichip. You'd have a permanent CEL and a static tune that would change with the weather and altitude but it is possible.

Did you ever solve the issue or did you just change your management? I am curious because I am having the same problem so I am looking into getting an FIC and I wanna make sure that is the issue (all though I am pretty sure it is the unichip that is causing it since it seems like a problem with partial throttle tuning)
