Default Loud banging noise when put into gear

So
My car is now making this loud clanking noise when its in gear and you get on the gas after shifting. Basically if you decelerate then accelerate it makes a poppingesque sound coming from the front passenger side of the car. Is it possible the car is bending the axel or the axel is popping? What should I look for when Im under there tomorrow?

Its your rear motor mount.. I know from experience. I hope yours hasnt fallen out like mine did. I heard a bolt fall off my car so I stopped and picked it up and put it back in the next evening and it wasnt torqued down and made clanking noises, which sounds like what your car is doing. Take it to the dealership and tell em to check it out for you...

yeah it fell out actually exactly like yours. Its still doing it some what though since the bolts that hold the rear motor mount were put on mickey mouse crooked.

Well since you guys are talking manual tranny stuff...
My car has this clunk noise when you release the clutch while in 1st gear.. All of my motor mounts are new! It might be a bad cv joint or a problem with the differential (I really hope not). It has been doing this since it was brand new and it is just getting worse.
It's an 05' and now has 41k, anyone heard of this...???

hey I just had my clutch installed and I have this! I have the shop recheck the mounts but he insist everything is tight, do you hear anything while cranking? it seems though that its the motor that is loose

I doubt its the axle, I even have a busted boot on my replacement axle but its working fine so far.. But do check if your wheel bearing is ok, it can give vibrations too when it goes bad and I just had mine replaced.. Most likely its the rear mount though

Ohh this does suck. Gl getting it fixed. Id take it to the dealer if it is the rear mount. They should hoepfully take care of it under warranty. Id hope anyways. But kik your prolly not under warranty anymore are ya.

^^ im not sure if they will cover warranty if works like clutch or motor mounts are done, they will see it as install error that they are fixing

Check rear motor mount bolt! Mine fell out one day at around 45,000 miles... Just bought a new one at the dealer, it was 4.50! I used locktite this time around!
