Default Lower numbers

I dynoed my tc today i have a greddy kit and it came out to 234whp does that same lowe with bolts ons?

Kind of Dyno? and what mods?

My friend with at turbonetics kit put down 233whp/234wtq on a Dynojet.

At what PSI? What AFR? Those seem very low to me..

my kit is at 8.5 psi, on the greddy kit, any ideas

still dont say what type of dyno you used or what other mods you have besides the boost?

sounds accurate for a Mustang Dyno. Still close to 100hp over stock.

Sounds about right. Depending on elevation too, that makes a difference.

Most of our kits make 245-250whp on the S1 with the base boost. In AZ, at 2k above sea level, Scottsdale tC made 235whp on a "real world" dyno.

So I'd say you're in good shape. I'd just be concerned with your Air/Fuel values. If you have a good fuel curve, hit the track up and have some fun! That's what's important.

all dynos read differently but u should only use it as a basis for changes on the car. did u do any baseline run on the same dyno?

i had more TQ i had about 248 TQ, is that how it should be more TQ then HP?

Def sounds like an exhaust restriction issue when it makes that much more TQ than HP.

Or the small turbo syndrome that peaks out power prior to 5250 RPMS. Hence the TQ tapering off hardcore afterwards as it approaches redline. A calculation of HP would then yield a lower number in this case.

HP=Torque x RPM / 5252

With respect to elevation, yes that can play a huge role because the air density and how the fuel atomizes. Play with the little calculator for example....

Use the following inputs:

Current Elevation From Sea-Level: (+/- 10,000 feet) 525
Current Horsepower: 250
New elev1 from sea-level: (+/- 10,000 feet) 2000

Hit calculate and you will see how Kelly had lower numbers in comparison to Matt who made 260whp on stock boost.

Axlebacks dont really help that much. Free up that S-Pipe and midpipe.

Also do you have a CEL?

yea i have cel, it just came on today, also u think if i cut out the resenator on the stock midpipe that would work or not, also it would probly be loud as hell

Yea I suggest an S-Pipe and a Midpipe. Go with Megan they are cheap and work well.

Yeah axel backs dont do anything for exhaust flow. s-pipes and midpipes are the tC's best friends. Get that CEL code read toand post it up.

Yea most likely an antifouler is needed, if you dont already have one. Everything can be fixed.
