M=tuned Turbo kit : little update for now

ok well ive been out the game for a while.. my "jo tech" fully built motor was a fail... well they built it with to much piston to wall clearance and piston slap ate the sides of the pistons.. so i pulled the motor a little over a month ago.. took it to mikes " m=tuned" and ordered:

89mm Je pistons
BC stage 2 turbo cams
Descendent intake mani
Arp main and head studs
block is at Slowboy racing getting machined once thats done ill order the bearings and mike will put it back together.. basicly rebuilding the the motor besides the head and pauter rods
cant wait to get it back out again!

i never drove the car untill it was fully warmed up and when we took apart the motor u could move the piston alot...more then it should

also the motor was always loud my friends motor is built and is sounds ALOT quieter then mine was..
it's all good lesson learned never open up someone else's can of warm's.. always do your own build

no i dont i wish i did.. i bought the motor from a local guy that it had just 3,000 miles on it.. and it was loud from day 1 even with 20w50 vr1 racing oil

just 1 night is started to tapp not a deep tap but a tap that i could hear over the motor was sorta loud . motor still ran good compression was still good on every cyl.. checked all the valves and they were not bent the motor is sleeved so that was a plus i guess pistons were 88.5 going to bore out a lil more and got 89mm so everything can be redone perfect

welcome to my world of having a built block and repairing it. i have 200% confidence in mike with motor and tuned not from experience but from word of mouth and mike was the one that helped me with the whole crank walk ordeal! GL man. hopefully ill be in your boat soon or maybe not dunno yet?
hopefully.. and yea honestly if it wasint for mike i woulda sold everything he knows his stuff big time

yea man. im talking my car up there whenever i get the gi bill check. and were gonna switch out the exhaust cam and figure out what is making some noise when i press in the clutch and if everything is well then i/m gonna tune the highest i can on pump gas or maybe if mike convinces me i'll go e85.
