check your rack and pinion bolts in the undercarriage. they have a nut on top that has to be held to properly tighten them.

ok well all of a sudden my afr's went to 10$ at idle! so i used the solus i have at work.... maff was ok.... primary o2 sensor was fine but the secondary o2 sensor had no volts had to order one was 90$ also my brand new step 2 colder plugs are blacker then anything just bought another set for when i go get tuned wensday ( as long as this o2 sensor fix's my rich prob) soo yea... bad day car is at my work had 2 get a ride home

also now i gotta go do a clutch on a tc in my garage by my self going to pull an all nighter so i can have it done by tomorrow after noon then go fix my car (hopefully) then drive to get tuned wen's........ a long azz 48 hours ahead of me

there is a place called i think bumper to bumper i dunno if you have that up there. but they sell ngk o2 sensors for cheap!

primary= arm and leg (well maybe an arm and a big toe...lol)

btw as far as i know the secondary shouldnt affect tune very much at all...its primary function is to monitor the catalytic converter, how ever i think that the two 02 sensors are linked somehow (not exactly hardwired to each other but the ecu may use both readings to come up with a better fueling stratigy...could be way off on this though)

i paid about 110 for my primary o2 sensor from a place called bumper to bumper down here in miami.

the primary was getting good connection maf sensor also... the plugs were black i changed them and did nothing....... so im getting new step 2 colder plugs tomorrow from my friend... a new secondary o2 sensor then tune on wensday... and doesint a vac leak make you go lean? the tuner told me its either an o2 sensor / maf sensor.. or possibly the plugs

also crush its ur tune that made the 02 sensor die the tune i was useing from exdos i never threw a code or ran rich at all just had break up in boost ima switch tunes and stay outta boost as long as the o2 sensor fix's it

ive got 32k on my car already i was waiting for an o2 sensor to go once i went boost... im doing a clutch in my garage now by my self on a tc got the subframe down about to drop the trans takeng a dinner break

tune cant kill an 02 sensor...lol...however you can run hella rich and carbon build up will kill it, but outright just fry an 02 sensor...i highly doubt it... the fic would have to be able to run high voltage to it. (higher than what the 02 sensor can tolarate)...and btw the way the fic works it doesnt send voltage to the 02 sensor, it intercepts the return signal, reconditions it, and sends it to the ecu. so if your using a scan tool to trouble shoot an 02 sensor its prolly not going to be accurate since the fic is conditioning the signal that the ecu see's.

btw you should be throwing code p0420 (catalyst below threshold ... something like that)...thats normal

no i didint throw that code i kept throwing system to rich and crankshaft pos sensor...... and on the scanner it read the primary 02... nothing was happening with the secondary..... thats the only thing i could find

system rich code is tune...like i said before the fuel map isnt jiving with the 02 map....crankshaft sensor shouldnt be comeing up unless the resistors are burned out or something...maybe came loose...i soldered them but idk...

btw i just went back and looked at the instructions and how the wireing is done...if the boomslang harness wires it like its shown on the AEM instructions then it doesnt intercept the signal but taps into it...

also i could have sworn you said secondary 02 sensor.

yep you did say secondary 02 sensor...thats the one thats on the s-pipe (stock location on stock exhoust)

yes i know the primary o2 sensor is reading fine the secondary o2 is getting no voltage at all

ahh ok...effing weird...im trying to figure out how it would be possible for a tune to fry your secondary 02 sensor...id have to double check but the fic only taps into the primary (in order to change fueling needs in closed loop ie idle). i dont even think the fic has two 02 wires comeing off of it.

btw if you get a chance justin send me that tune you have....i want to make sure it is my tune and nothing has changed on it...iv got two tc's running on my tune and nothing like this has happend so far. not even their primary 02 sensors have failed on em.
