Default Mail Order Tune?

Just throwing this out there, cuz where I'm located noone has a dyno to tune turbo'd cars with. So I'm wondering if there's anyone that can send me an e-manage with a tune already set so I can just plug and go?

Pito is in Guam...their tuning their stuff.
But you can get a base map off of Dezod's website. it should at least get you running, but you still need a tune.

Even if you could do that I wouldnt recommend that. Not every motor will be the same off a map....close? sure? but it isnt fool proof.

http://www.amazon.com/Modify-Managem...9049192&sr=8-2

Get it. Read it. Tune it. haha

I got this book and read it pretty much cover to cover. It really does a good job of teaching how to tune. It covers the concepts and explains them really well. After reading this book, you should be able to turn your car yourself.

And once you read how to tune it, you should be able to do a fairly decent street tune... Plus that probably be better than getting a mail order tune... But how sweet would that be if it was that easy!

That book was a waste of time. There was not that much good info covered in there. He did explain in great detail the difference between e-proms, standalones etc, but do not expect to be overwhelmed with info.

I thought it was a great book. It explained how things work to help you tune. It tells why you should pull timing and the reasoning behind it. How to set your air/fuel ratios, etc. I was very impressed with the book.

From a tuner standpoint, it was quite boring, old news etc.

I guess from an utter novice POV, it was decent at best.
