No symptoms. I just did a lot, a lot of third gear pulls.. Syncros never grinded them, never miss shifted. Just couldn't handle the power.. I was doing 55 mph on I-95 and an STI passed me. Wanted to play with it so I down shifted like i normally do and POW.. Third gear just went in the middle of my pull and popped it into fourth and realized that pull and shift felt different.. Laggy.. and then heard the gear grinding and rattling around the transfer case when i went to pull over.. I'll have the tranny out of the car soon and rip the transfercase apart. I'll take some pictures as well.. I want to see the carnage that was done.. Atleast something gave way and i want to know what it really was.. Maybe the Syncro or maybe the gear itself.. hard to explain at this point.. ask Chintastic he was there when it happened.. he's normally with me during a lot of things that go on with me car..

i got a used trans for 600 bucks with lest than 3000 miles on it.. ripped it apart and checked everything in it and put a TRD LSD in it within a day.. but I'll have to see all the links about rebuilting a trans for our car again.. been a couple of months.. they aren't that expensive.. Parts for the trans aren't expensive.. its the labor that is done that makes it expensive.. and trans are as time consuming as motors..
