the reason I ask is its a little exhaust leak on one of the welds, and I was thinking of putting some rvt on it and throwing some header paint on that to make it look ok for now

just let it leak until you get it welded, it's no biggy unless your manifold is like in half. haha

there isn't much that can withstand that pressure and heat.

I don't about the cosmetic effect of the crack, I just don't want it to get worse, so does anyone know of a temp fix to a small crack?

go to a local muffler shop....have them mig weld the leak. Just prep the spot a little before they weld it...

Yes its a ghetto temp fix. But prepping it will help it last that much longer.

I wonder if JB Weld would be able to withstand the heat? That stuff works pretty well on a variety of applications.

JB weld is only like 400 degrees. That link up there might work but I would still not want to trust it. I think it should really be able to withstand 2000+ degrees in order to work on a turbo manifold. Now a little exhaust leak on your s-pipe could probably be fixed by the about link if prepped properly.

Nope it would just crack from the heat ^^

I tried using it, when I had a bad exhaust manifold/turbo gasket.

It just made for a messy engine bay, lol.

Just take it to an exhaust shop and get it fixed.

Well... according to my egt gauge, when i'm boosting i'm at about 1200 degrees (F).

If memory serves me right.
