Massive S/C Build ~~ PRELIM NUMBERS INSIDE!

Sweet dude. I've found that Gates belts are the only game in town. Dayco/Davis belts or those cheesy Good Year "Gatorbacks" are just gimmicks. Avoid them, seriously. If you have a gatorback now, you are DEFINITELY going to experience slippage.
Dotted lines == no go. Learn from this All you'll see is black dust under the hood.
I popped my 12lb pulley in tonight with a Gates - and DAMN. 10+psi at 4k... climbing up to that point while watching AFR --- 11.5.... 12... 13.5....WHAM. 17! *let off throttle*
Gonna keep it under 4k driving to work tomorrow since I really need a tune (which happens at 5pm @ ripp).
For what it's worth, a 2235 internal (K070880 Gates) was a REALLY tight fit for a 12lb. It might be PERFECT for you if you're experiencing slippage...
Me and my buddy Gary got it on tonight, but I need a retune BADLY since I'm leaning out at like 4500rpm lol

*bump* haven't heard much from this neck of the woods. what's the latest?
Got a stock 350Z looking for some action, tC's in the garage getting the wideband hooked up, so only the Z has some play time.

Not too much to report here, I'm waiting on a new belt to come in that should get me into more boost much faster, but we'll see. I picked up a stage 2 snow performance kit today and will be replacing the water to air intercooler with it as well as putting my clutchmasters stage 3 and fidanza flywheel in when I get the money.

Which setup is more efficient for daily driving? I take it meth injectionw ould be and that why you are switching. Plus the meth kit doesnt have a boost loss.
How much boost loss did you see with your current setup? What are your boost levels and power numbers? What pulleY?
I am rereading this entire thread to learn more. Its amazing how all the info on this site intertwines in my head. I am on page 14 of this thread and just got to the install. So much talk in here.

Got my snow performance kit in today and waiting on my new s/c bracket (Tuesday) so we'll see if I keep an oil leak, if not or if it's not bad I'll be getting some money together and I should have a meth injected beast HOPEFULLY close to the start of the year
