Massive S/C Build ~~ PRELIM NUMBERS INSIDE!

I also forgot to add that the intercooler setup only lost around 2 psi. The 12 psi is on right now and it's making 10 psi at the engine so when we put the 14 on there I'll get around 12 at the engine.

So the question I have is this: The E-Manage Ultimate is a piggy-back ECU which means you still use the stock ECU. How are you able to remove the MAF entirely without putting the stock ECU into wtf mode? I would think that would cause the stock ECU to freak out and simply shut the motor down....or at least run like crap. This would definitely throw a CEL. Does the Ultimate fake out the stock ECU by feeding it a false MAF reading???
Confused.

it fakes out the ECU cause it is being tuned by map now instead of the maf. Did you actually install the map sensor into the intake manifold charles?
BTW, very nice numbers Ethan...congrats bro
Im gunnin for ya now j/k
Im sticking with the 9.5 psi, im not gonna bump it up to 12 until I get the bug lol
Dyno numbers round 2 for me coming shortly

I am retaining the stock ECU in the car. Im doing all the tuning on the emanage ultimate and I used the Greddy Map sensor for small adjustments. I could have done it without it though, it just made data logging much easier on me. I didn't wire in any aftermarket MAP sensor anywhere outside of the greddy sensor.
The car did have a CEL, which I fully intend on getting rid of. I scanned the car three times with the cel on and it came back no codes. I cleared the memory anyway but I am pretty confident I know why its on now and it'll be gone next time I have the car down here.
Lemme say this, tuning the car this way made a HUGE difference. Its the first thing big HP supra's, ect get rid of. In fact, on a supra gains of 30 whp have been seen by simply deleting the MAF sensor. They use a MAF pipe though instead of a sensor like ours and the pipe itself is a restriction. I dont think gains like this will be seen on our cars by simply getting rid of it but it does open up a whole new world of possibilities. In the world of big horsepower, maf sensors are like 87 octane.

J/K. I really want to see if I can keep up with it though. That would be cool as hell to have a S/C tC that's on par with a ZPI Stage 1 @ 8 PSI. Maybe Kytc can change my mind about their ability to be fast enough.
It's not as cost effiecent to build than that of a turbo kit, but it's still cool to be different. I want to play with it now...
Good job guys
