What kind of MBC is it? I would install it in-line on the vac line from the TB to the wastegate mounted somewhere with easy access. T into the existing line on the throttle

have you turned the mbc down? Close the valve til you just see WG spring boost, then adjust up 1/4 turn = 1lb

mbc's are just bleed valves that trick a WG spring into thinking it's only seeing it's rating at a higher level. With no spring, ur basicly running no wastegate even with an MBC

Are you running it inline with the vac source, throttle body most likely, or are you running it where the vac line to the WG goes? Which is best?

I source my vac at the TB and I have a vac block. I have my MBC coming from the vac block to the WG.

So mine goes

(source) TB ---> VAC BLOCK ---> F/IC
.......................................---> Boost Gauge
.......................................---> MBC ---> WG
.......................................---> BOV

you should find out on the FORGE MBC which is inlet (which wastegate plugs into) and which is outlet (which the vacuum source plugs into.

ok.. so ur saying u plug in the mbc and it goes from say 8 or 9 psi all the way to 14 correct!

Same thing i had happen..

its the fact that the mbc has such a small opening for air to flow through its restricting a little bit of air going to the wastegate.. and also sometimes the mbc accually will have a ball and spring inside it to create a spike in lower boost range...

what mbc is it?

It's a forge mbc. Hey Justin after install you closed it all the way? And still goes to 15psi?and remember being that low of psi you have to turn it like half a turn not full turns.
