remember when the little stiffy just wont cut it......you need the BIG BLACK STIFFY!!

I am not sure I am even going to go to the track on my current setup....just would not be worth it....No LSD, I would end up either crossing lanes or end up in the wall.....
when you and travis come down, we should hit both tracks down here. kenny should trailer his then we be riden 6 ZPI deep, lol
If you guys are going to SpeedWorld.. Hit me up, I want in.. I would love to sit in a lane next to you guys and see what a fun kinda race we all can have.. I'll have the DR's ready..

Maybe we can get some highway pulls on too..
Shoot, when ( if, lol ) they come down, were going to orlando AND moroso. =)

I guess ur right... but I don't really see the need for me to get new rods, I'm thinking just the stage 1 short block and stage 2 head in the future will do me fine. I'll still be able to boost to 550whp and redline at 8k (I know they recommend 7.8k, but I'd rather push it to 8k) I can't wait to be boosted and start beatin out those freakin mustangs and camaros and M3s and this one lil b*tch Audi A3 that had a ATP Turbo and thought he was hella cool so he sped up next to me and hella mugged me... f**kin b*stard....

I know, I was getting kinda "iffy" on pushing 550whp without forged rods... But it's just too much money right now for a stage 2 shortblock and it wouldn't be worth it to get a stage 2 head in the future.

I am really contemplating on just getting new pistons and rods and calling it a day cuz not only is it cheaper, but I can still achieve some good whp... the only question is, HOW MUCH whp can I gain with just rods/pistons and how high of PSI boost is TOO much?

Trust me there is a lot more to take into account when you are going for those numbers as Mikescion has mentioned then just the internals of the engine, fuel system, engine dampening, exhaust size and back pressure, injectors, ECU, power management (IE LSD), turbos, manifold type, tubing size....and on and on....it is really a constant battle, because as soon as you have one system up to snuff, then you see that you have to address another system, and so on...

Whatever? Brett, I have every thing you do, but better. A better shop and better fuel, better managment, and a better tuner.
