Default Megan Axleback

http://www.meganracing.com/products/...d=517&catid=50
Do any of you run this axleback and if so how does it compare to the zpi axleback? I hate the look of my zpi axleback and want a more stock looking exhaust that will yield roughly the same performance gains as my zpi.

i have the megan with my turbo and love the sound it produces not toooo loud but u can hear it good for daily driving.i made 261 whp on 8 pounds boost so it cant be that restrictive.

now your talking about the normal axleback, not the n1 drift one correct? what psi springs do you have, do you have full exhaust?

lets talk performance paul, that is my main concern. i want stock looking with high performance. will this megan axleback yield roughly the same gains as my zpi axle back? is this megan a flow through muffler?

Why not just custom make your ZPI exhaust like I did? I was partial to the way the Blitz Nur Spec sounded and decided that I would like to have the Blitz Nur Spec muffler on instead of the equipped Magnaflow that comes with the ZPI exhaust. So, Kenny custom welded up my Blitz to match up to their exhaust in place of the Mangnaflow.

Why not do that instead of going out and buying another exhaust system?

by the way Pollup, ZPI exhaust is an S-pipe back, not axle back.....

Damn boy you picky....

You know, you could have went with the ZPI mid pipe, and then got an axle back of your choice to bolt up to it...

rhythm your misunderstanding. lemme clear it up. i have zpi s pipe (not currently installed) and i have the zpi midpipe, currently installed. i also have zpi's axle back installed. i dont like the way the axle back sits so low and that you can see the entire muffler from behind the vehicle. if i can get it custom made to be in the shape of the trd exhaust i would go that route. i want a muffler shaped like that megan to keep a lower profile. thats why im willing to trade the AXLEBACK part of the zpi exhaust with the megan axleback.

for the record i just spoke with megan racing. they said the muffler is a flow through design and should yield roughly the same gains as the zpi axleback. now to find a good price on a used one.
