I like the megan style as well. I'll be in on this depending on price.

take a look at the dyno graph on this post. Yes, that came from a Spec V and no, we are not claiming that much of a gain on the tC yet! I'll be sure to post the new dyno graph and numbers on the tC exhaust as soon as this is completed. Right now I'm just trying to get feedback to make a system more universally accepted and it sounds like the straight through design is most preferred thus far. The fewer bends the better.

Well some Turbonetics tC's thats have been dyno'd on stock exhaust hit up to 230-240whp range and with full 2.5 inch downpipe back have seen 270whp so no reason it wont add that much power.

I just want an exhaust, the HKS Carbon w/ Titanum tip was with a 3" downpipe back was about 900 bucks for me so if this cheaper and manufactured I'm up for it. Love the Megan Drift spec but burning with the bumper is a concern that I cannot deal with

My brother is running an HKS hi power with the turbonetics kit with no burning.

this wouldn't be the actual megan drift spec. I was just asking for what style people prefered, OEM style or straight through canister muffler.
I am also looking into using the HKS Carbon or stainless HI power mufflers but that would increase the price a bit

well put it this way. If it is angled exit, count me out. Stock exit.

I'd be interested in this after dyno numbers. As for the style, I don't like the angle but if it gets me 5+ hp then I guess it would be worth it. I like my GReddy EVO2 exhaust look, canistor but straight out the back.

if it is bolted piping then, if possible, they should have either angled out exit or stock exit choices

so I just confirmed with Greg @ Mossy Performance that we are still on for the 3" downpipe back. Sorry for the delays.
As it stands now, the system will be a complete Mandrel bent 3" downpipe back bolt on kit. It will come in about 4-5 pieces with it being direct bolt on in existing locations and slip fittings in other spots. This is used to facilitate shipping of the system.
It will have an OEM style muffler, complete 3" in and out but it will bolt on in the same location as stock so the axle back option is still out there for those who want to have a different look.
This system will only come however with the OEM style muffler.
Finally, price is estimated about $800 but there will be $100 off the first 6 orders.
Pictures and vids along with complete dyno results will be up within the next week or so.
Send any questions or pre-orders to Greg @ 760 535-2259
thanks guys...

the system will come with the OEM look but you can swith out the axle back section with any you would like. I don't know if Greg will be carrying the HKS Hi power or Ti mufflers though? That's something that you can ask.
I feel you on the muffler. I want it with the carbon Ti 75mm but in order to cater to the "majority" the OEM look will be kept. It also gives it a "sleeper" look, important for guys like me in Cali...
Call Greg and see if changing out the muffler is something he will do for you

What's the deal as far as offering a version with a cat? I know you said the standard setup would not come with one but that it could possibly be added on. I'd definitely be interested if a cat version is offered, and the tone is not too obnoxious.

with a turbo, catless systems are not obnoxious at all. I don't think there is any plan to add a high flow cat but since it is bolt on, you could get one later and add it prior to inspection or testing.

I have a full 2.5 inch exhaust with no cats or resonators and its not too loud at all. Sounds alot like a SRT-4 with minor upgrades.
